In the exhibition area, Zhejiang intangible cultural heritage—the century-old brand Wang Xingji Fans, Stone carving seals, Zhejiang tie-dye technique all appeared in U.S. The on-site traditional crafts showed the traditional craftsmanship of Zhejiang to the people of Los Angeles which kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

During the event, Huang Hangjuan extended the warmest welcome to attendees and made a vivid introduction of Zhejiang. She said, Zhejiang, located in the east coast of China, is one of the cradles of Chinese civilization. “The West Lake, Jianglang Mountain, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Ruins of Liangzhu ancient city have been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list.

The three largest commodities representing China, silk, tea and porcelain are produced in large quantities in Zhejiang. Hangzhou, the provincial capital, is one of the seven ancient capitals of China and the permanent home of the World Tourism Federation’s headquarters.”

According to Huang, as early as the 13th century, the famous traveler Marco Polo called Hangzhou "the most beautiful and luxurious city in the world.” The 2022 Asian Games will also be held in this city. Zhejiang is also one of the provinces with the most economic strength, the highest degree of openness and the strongest entrepreneurial and innovative vitality in China. The great economic development in Zhejiang has given birth to a new generation of Zhejiang businessmen.

San Bernardino, CA—The homeless population in this beleaguered community is reaching epic proportions. In fact, some estimates put the City of San Bernardino as the second poorest community in the nation second only to Detroit. Father Michael Barry, Chairman of Mary’s Mercy Center, states, “The vision we have for Mary’s Village is not just feeding the homeless but providing them with the skills and services needed to improve their quality of life and restore their dignity. Crestwood Communities will be holding a Half Way Home Luncheon for their trade partners, elected officials, and other dignitaries to thank them for their support.

The Half Way Home Luncheon will be held on the campus of Mary’s Village, 256 S. Artisan, San Bernardino, CA, a new men’s long-term transitional housing facility for those in need that broke ground in San Bernardino in January. According to the Mary’s Mercy Center “In 2012, with an understanding of the lack of resources for homeless men, Mary’s Mercy Center made a commitment to provide the same high quality, evidence-based programming for men that they do for women.” Projected to be completed in mid-2020, “Mary’s Village, Phase One – 85 Beds, will provide comprehensive services including behavioral health, medical and other supportive services, at one location. Mary’s Mercy Center is looking forward to working with the community to improve the lives of homeless individuals.”

With a total budget of over $12 million and thanks to a generous grant of over $7.3 million from the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, at capacity (Four phases), Mary’s Village will provide comprehensive case management, career and technical education, general education, life skills, supportive services, behavioral health and other health care services to approximately 120 men experiencing homelessness.

Crestwood Communities, working in conjunction with trade partners and city officials, is developing this comprehensive facility to address the needs of homeless men in the Central San Bernardino region. The development will take place in four phases with Phase one including 82 shelter beds, slated to open in Spring 2020, Phases 2 providing 35 shelter beds – slated to open in Fall 2021, Phase 3-4 medical and education facility, the transitional housing units, and finally the community care facilities. The Half Way Home Luncheon will highlight the progress of Mary’s Village and will begin at 12:00 pm, Tours will be available.

Named as the Building Industry Associations of Southern California-Baldy View Chapter’s 2019 Builder of the Year, headquartered in Glendora, Crestwood Communities is a Fourth-Generation family owned home builder, with deep ties to the East Valley Region including the Ladera Development in Grand Terrace. KING OF PRUSSIA, PA, UNITED STATES, December 13, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — In the first in a new video series on residential real estate, John Salkowski warns that Zillow data is being widely manipulated in an effort to cause homebuyers to overpay. Salkowski, a real estate author and broker owner of The JRS Realty Group, says the practice is widespread and he outlines how realtors are using the website to overstate home values.

Zillow has grown to be the most popular real estate website in America with 36 million people a month using it to research residential real estate. One of Zillow’s most popular free features is an “estimate” of any home’s value they call a Zestimate.

These Zestimates use a proprietary system for their calculations which is being widely manipulated by listing agents and homeowners to exaggerate the value of the majority of homes on Zillow.

Zestimates include public records data like nearby housing transactions and the registered square footage of the house. Salkowski says this data can be useful to homebuyers and is mostly accurate. However, Zillow allows and actually encourages homeowners to enter unverified information about their home and this information is used to calculate the Zestimate as well.

Salkowski says that some listing agents will encourage homeowners to enter inaccurate data onto Zillow solely to overstate the value of their home in the hopes that can be used to convince homebuyers to overpay.

Salkowski points out the Zestimates are not an appraisal and no insurer, bank or mortgage company will accept one as homes value. Zillow does not disclose how its algorithms calculate Zestimates. So, this lack of transparency is concerning because it makes the process a black box open to manipulation.

John Salkowski shares a scary example of how widespread the problem is. Zillow has disclosed that the estimates of ¾ of all homes in Salkowski’s region of Pennsylvania which includes Philadelphia and King of Prussia are off by as much as 10%.

He compares the site to WebMD which has a feature where visitors enter symptoms and the site returns a list of potential causes. Salkowski says these sites can be a useful starting point to educate yourself before meeting with a professional. “You won’t trust your health to WebMD so why would you trust the value of your home to Zillow?” He asks.

In the video, John Salkowski offers to review the Zestimate for a homeowner looking to understand their homes true market value. He also says that everyone should consult a local real estate professional for like those he employs at The JRS Realty Group.
